When all the mediocre overpriced tourist traps on the strip are jammed on a wait, go to Shrimpy's - with ample parking and seating, live music, and incredible food. A hidden (you'll see when you go there) gem the locals know and love. Not only will you not be disappointed, you'll leave a 5-star review yourself. P.S.) They removed the tail shells from the shrimp in my jambalaya. This is a rare amazing touch.

Shrimpy’s Waterfront in St. Pete Beach is easily one of the best spots around. The location is unbeatable with tables right on the water and a beautiful view, plus it’s the official local watch party spot for both Georgia Bulldogs and Buffalo Bills games! Kicked it off with great food. We started with the raw oysters (which were huge and delicious), the shrimp and lobster bisque, and the voodoo shrimp. For our mains, we had the grilled salmon, the Torpedo sandwich, and the Pass-A-Grille Pasta, all cooked to perfection. We capped the night off with the bread pudding, which is an absolute must-order. (Attached a few photos of the Torpedo, Pasta, Salmon, and Bread Pudding so you can see for yourself). Service was top-notch. A massive thank you to our server, Amanda, who took incredible care of our group and thanks to George and the bartenders for great drinks. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Jenn Marie Shouse, who was playing live on stage. She covered some of the best classic hits and set an amazing vibe for the evening; phone recordings just don't do her justice. Owner John John took over Shrimpy’s a little over four years ago and has completely transformed it into a thriving local favorite. He was incredibly generous with his time, coming by to hang out and check on us, which was a huge highlight of our visit. Great food, incredible views, live music, and unbeatable hospitality. Every time I’m in town, this is officially my go-to spot.

New favorite!!!! Absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. The food is outstanding, especially the coconut shrimp, which is hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. It was fresh, lightly breaded, and perfectly cooked. We loved it so much that we came back just a few days later to have it again. The cocktails are also delicious and feel well worth the price, definitely not overpriced, just well made and enjoyable. The kids’ menu is excellent as well, which is rare to find. It doesn’t feel like anything is missing just because it’s “for kids”—the food still has great flavor and quality. The atmosphere is wonderful, with live music that really elevates the whole experience. Watching people relax, dance, and enjoy themselves makes it even more fun and memorable. Service was also excellent, staff were smiling, polite, and very attentive, especially with kids, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back again.

NOLA vibes, amazing live music and huge bar. Outside seating is provided right on the water with a great view of catching the sunset. Food was simply amazing and drinks were great. Live music was jazz and some of the best I’ve heard!
